Right on the promenade des Anglais and boulevard Gambetta, this modest hotel, near the chic and pricey Negresco, is a real bargain. Breakfast is the only meal served, but many restaurants are nearby. Each of the small to medium-size bedrooms comes with a good mattress; the decor features bright, inviting colors. The accommodations are much improved, as are the bathrooms with tub or shower.
