Caribic Vacations, 1310 Providence Dr., Ironshore Estate, White Sands Beach (tel. 876/953-9878), is the market leader. They offer a tour of Ocho Rios including Fern Gully, Dunn's River Falls, and a visit to Coyaba Museum, with shopping time scheduled in the center of Ocho Rios. The tour lasts 5 to 6 hours, costing $35 per person.

Blue Mountain Tours, 121 Main St. (tel. 876/974-7075), runs guided downhill bicycle tours of Jamaica's Blue Mountains. The cost is $93 per person, including transfers to the site, breakfast, and lunch. The single-gear bikes are woefully inadequate, however, for the terrain.
