Weber State University, southeast of downtown, belongs to the Big Sky Athletic Conference and the Mountain West Athletic Conference. Ogden also has a minor league baseball team. A short season "A" team affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Raptors play from mid-June to early September at Lindquist Field, 2330 Lincoln Ave. (tel. 801/393-2400; www.ogden-raptors.com).
