Review of Fantasy SurfSurf's up! Fantasy Surf, Orlando's newest (and only) indoor surf park, brings the thrill of surfing to landlocked tourists (and locals, too). Cool off riding the waves -- produced by the patented FlowRider system -- from morning till night. Accommodating up to 30 riders at any one time, the $4-million, 14,000-square-foot aquatic facility features padded walls, a cushioned floor, and beach all covered by a sheet of water that's designed for wipeouts -- making it perfect for beginners and pros alike to hang ten. Sessions are offered in 30-minute increments; the more sessions you purchase, the more money you save. With tickets valid for 18 months from the date of purchase, visitors heading back to Orlando can save a bundle by purchasing multiple sessions all at once. Be sure to check the calendar posted on the website, as Fantasy Surf plays host to pro tours and competitions throughout the year. If you forgot a suit, no worries -- you can pick up the latest surf and swimwear at the Offshore surf shop, well stocked with swimsuits, board shorts, T-shirts, sunglasses, and other necessities. Onlookers and hungry riders can fill up at the Lull cafe (serving snacks, wraps, pizza, and beverages). Riders must meet the 42-inch height requirement for bodyboarding, or the 52-inch height requirement for flowboarding. Signed waivers are also required (and can be downloaded in advance from the website to save time). Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip.

| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
