Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld Review
You can't beat the location if you're a fan of SeaWorld -- the park is just across from the resort. What appears to be a rather simple-looking hotel from the exterior gives way to an inviting and modern interior, with trendy touches throughout. A glass-covered atrium rises high above a stunning indoor courtyard, where you'll find lush foliage, cascading waterfalls, a chic lounge, the Boardwalk sports bar, and Mist Sushi and Spirits (each of which features a distinctive open concept within the courtyard). The tastefully decorated rooms, all recently revamped, are oversized, providing plenty of space to spread out and relax. After extensive renovations to the pool area in 2006, 2007 saw a $20-million makeover that included the addition of an 8,000-square-foot full-service spa. New in the summer of 2011, just as this book goes to print, is an extensive pool and play area (aptly named the "Splash Zone") filled with water slides, water jets, spinners, water cannons, and an area dedicated to tinier tots, too. Note: This is now an official "on-site" SeaWorld hotel, with added benefits such as complimentary transportation to SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove (as well as Universal Orlando); complimentary quick queue passes (limited to a daily allotment); early entry at both SeaWorld and Aquatica; and discounts at select shops and eateries on select days of the week. Facilities: Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
