Hamou's and Abdelouahed's friendly restaurant is always my first choice for dinner here. Two separate, though identical, eating areas are decorated like Moroccan Caïdale tents, with green and red awnings hanging down from the walls and ceiling. Circular tables and low stools are dotted throughout, allowing "intimate" meals for 2 to 10 diners. The menu is wholly Moroccan fare, and is consistently flavorsome, with plenty of choice between numerous brochette, tagine, and couscous dishes; the tagine de kefta is a house specialty. Every now and then a busload of tourists will rush through, but more often than not the clientele are small groups or individual travelers. If you need a bed for the night, they also have some simply furnished rooms with en suite bathrooms (200dh double).
