As with other hotels in Morocco under this chain, this is a great value for your money. The large three-story, tabout-rendered building may attempt to look like a kasbah on the outside, but inside you'll find no surprises. The compact rooms are carpeted with modern finishings and are still relatively fresh. A ground-floor restaurant leads off to one side of the reception and serves a menu of international standards with a nice salad buffet and comfort food for the kids. However, I recommend eating at Le Tazerzite in the Mercure next door. To the other side of reception is a cozy lounge bar. Children will love the large pool, surrounded by a good supply of sun lounges and no less than three Berber tents for shade. It's within short walking distance to the Taourirt Kasbah and about a 25-minute walk from the city center.
