Ibis Moussafir

As with other hotels in Morocco under this chain, this is a great value for money. The large three-story, tabout-rendered building may attempt to look like a kasbah on the outside, but inside you'll find no surprises. The compact rooms are carpeted with modern finishings and are still relatively fresh. A ground-floor restaurant serves a menu of international standards with a nice salad buffet and comfort food for the kids (however, I recommend eating at Le Tazerzite in the Mercure next door). There is also a cozy lounge bar. Children (and adults) will love the large pool, surrounded by a good supply of sun lounges and no fewer than three Berber tents for shade. It's within short walking distance to the Taourirt Kasbah and about a 25-minute walk from the city center.
