Right across from Le Berbère Palace is this delightful little shop run by Chahira Yakoubi for the Minatou Association. The association coordinates the marketing, distribution, and retailing of handmade products produced by various women's cooperatives in central and southern Morocco. Inside the shop you'll find great gift ideas, such as argan oil soap, lamps with Berber motifs in henna, slippers, photo albums, notebooks, handbags, and a range of linen decorated in traditional yet modern Berber and Saharan motifs. The shop is usually open Wednesday to Monday 8am to 12:30pm and 3 to 9pm, but this can be seasonal.
