This is Palermo's most visible counterculture bookstore, with a definite allegiance to things revolutionary, socialist, feminist, gay-liberated, and ecologically and politically correct. Gay books tend to be shunted off to a mezzanine in back, which is accessible via a flight of hard-to-navigate stairs.
