Don't be fooled into thinking that the evening gown you buy here will be genuine (actually created by Valentino). What you'll get instead is a sense of fun, obscene amounts of silk taffeta arranged into tarty-looking flounces, and a genuine whimsy that might look fetchingly fabulous at a cocktail party back home. Clothes here manage to look "wenchy" and elegant at the same time, a real accomplishment if you're brave enough to wear them.
