Ariston Hotel
The sixth floor of an apartment building near Teatro Massimo houses bright, airy rooms spread along a corridor off a comfortable lounge. Furnishings are of the basic wood-veneer modular variety and luxuries don’t extend much beyond free coffee and tea, but the premises are spotless, owner/manager Giuseppe is a welcoming host, and a smattering of modern art hits just the right tasteful notes—all making this terribly pleasant place an excellent value.
