This side of The Dead Sea is far more tranquil than the booming high-rise resort center across the lake in Israel. The luxurious, new Kempinski Ishtar Hotel, the Marriott Dead Sea, and the less-expensive but attractive Dead Sea Resort Spa are very good, but the Movenpick is the resort of choice for location, architectural design, and experienced staff.
