Frommer's Review
Attracting an upscale backpacking crowd and offering a great sunset, this hotel offers endless screenings of Indiana Jones films, rooms with balconies, a steam room and small pool (summer only), and free transportation to the entrance to Petra National Park. There's been a lot of upgrading, and half of the hotel was built in 2005. Breakfast and dinner buffets are good and very fairly priced. The newer Al Anbat 2 (tel. 03/215-7200; fax 03/215-6888) is a small six-story tower with less expensive rooms and without the congenial atmosphere.
