Frommer's Review
Built for a family of prosperous merchants and traders, the elegant garden is as notable as the 1763 home, with its great hall and elaborate carvings. The home belonged to one family between 1763 and 1913, when it became a museum; many furnishings have never left the premises. The house will appeal to aficionados of early American furniture and painting.
