The only retail store inside the park other than visitor center/museum bookstores is the Fall River Store, next to Alpine Visitor Center at Fall River Pass on Trail Ridge Road. Open only in summer, it sells a wide variety of souvenirs, gift items, and outdoor clothing, and has a snack bar. There are no other stores, laundries, or showers in the park, but all can be found just outside the main park entrances.
For supplies in Estes Park, head for Country Supermarket, 3/4 miles from the Beaver Meadows entrance, or Rocky Mountain Gateway, adjacent to the Fall River Visitor Center, which also has a coin-operated laundry. In Grand Lake, stop at the Mountain Food Market or the Circle D for groceries and picnic supplies. Camping and outdoor-sports supplies and equipment are available in Estes Park at Outdoor World, Rocky Mountain Connection, and Estes Park Mountain Shop.
Dad's Maytag Laundry offers a variety of laundering options in Estes Park. Dad's also offers public showers, and in Grand Lake, public showers are available at Elk Creek Campground and RV Park and Winding River Resort. Call for hours.
Although there are no towing or repair facilities inside the park, Bob's Towing & Repair in Estes Park, and DJ Towing in Granby, offer 24-hour towing and road service and can handle large vehicles.
