Frommer's Review
This walk to an abandoned mine follows the Longs Peak Trail for about a half-mile and then forks off to the right. It heads through groves of aspens and then evergreens before arriving at the site of the mine, where you'll see hillside tailings, the remnants of a cabin, and abandoned mine equipment. The trail gains 508 feet in elevation from its starting point at 9,400 feet.
