Amirim is a vegetarian moshav (cooperative village) set in a forested area with beautiful views of the countryside; it is famous throughout Israel for its relaxed ambience and good vegetarian food. Most of the moshav families rent out comfy guest rooms and there are also a number of private, rustic wooden cabins that are in great demand (cabin Nof 10 [www.nof10.com] costs extra, but offers a fabulous view). There are many dining choices in the moshav at veggie cafes and in a central restaurant, or arrangements can be made for a special dinner prepared by some of Amirim's most popular cooks. The moshav's swimming pool, open in season, is available to guests at the moshav. Contact Phillip or Yoram for reservations and advice about the kinds of cabins and rooms that might best suit your needs.
