Real Salt Lake (tel. 801/924-8585; www.realsaltlake.com), the city's professional soccer team, plays at the University of Utah's Rice-Eccles Stadium, 451 S. 1400 East.
If you want to take in a minor league baseball game, the Pacific Coast League's Salt Lake Bees (tel. 801/325-2273; www.slbees.com), a Triple-A affiliate of the Anaheim Angels, play at Franklin Covey Field, at the intersection of 1300 South and West Temple. The University of Utah's Runnin' Utes and Lady Utes (tel. 801/581-8849; www.utahutes.com) compete in 10 women's and 9 men's Division I sports. The women's gymnastics team is phenomenal, and men's football and basketball have been growing in stature nationally. Tickets are usually available on fairly short notice, although it's best to call far in advance for football games.
