Frommer's Review
The Market Street Grill is quite possibly Utah's best seafood restaurant. Expect a wait before you're led into the bustling dining room. The place is packed for good reason: Fresh fish is flown in daily from around the world, and the Grill knows how to do it up right.
We recommend the Pacific red snapper Monterey, served with fresh tomato sauce, mushrooms, garlic, white wine, and Gulf shrimp; and the cioppino, a seafood stew of lobster tail, shrimp, crab, cockles, snapper, and scallops -- or choose one of about two dozen other seafood offerings. You'll also find a good choice of dinner salads, pastas, and excellent steaks. From 5 to 7pm the restaurant offers a fixed-price early-bird dinner special: a choice of slow-roasted prime rib, Alaskan halibut, or Atlantic salmon for $17. Look for all the standard breakfast choices, plus, fittingly, a seafood omelet; lunch includes salads, sandwiches, pasta, steaks, a variety of seafood dishes, and a $9.99 daily special. There's also a good Sunday brunch. Full liquor service is available.
A similar lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch menu is served at the Market Street Grill-Cottonwood, 2985 E. 6580 South (tel. 801/942-8860).
