This handsome and popular restaurant serves excellent Italian cuisine, and plenty of it. The dining room is decidedly modern, with a high ceiling, colorful contemporary art, a long, curved, stainless-steel bar, and a 40-foot-tall glass triptych. The menu includes a wide selection of innovative pizzas, baked in a wood-burning oven, plus pastas, chicken, veal, steaks, and seafood. Try the lasagna -- either meat or vegetarian -- or the Pappardelle al Telefono, pasta ribbons with creamy tomato sauce and mozzarella. The staff is friendly and efficient. Full liquor service is available.
