Frommer's Review
This family-owned and -operated restaurant has been known for serving some of the best Vietnamese food in the state since 1987. The restaurant now also offers Chinese dishes -- mostly Cantonese with some Vietnamese influences. The Oriental-style orange and black lacquer chairs glow warmly against the rich hunter green carpet and dark orange walls; Vietnamese paintings grace the walls; and two large aquariums add to the vibe. Menu items are listed by number -- from 1 to 197 -- with brief English descriptions of each. A popular vegetarian specialty is the fried bean curd with grilled onions and crushed peanuts, served with rice papers, a vegetable platter, and peanut sauce. We enjoyed the spicy Bun Ga Xao, rice vermicelli noodles with sautéed chicken and lemon grass, served with grilled onions and peanuts. Beer and wine are available.
