Frommer's Review
This isn't your average burger joint. In-the-know locals say this place serves the city's best fast-food burger owing to the fact that they (the burgers) are all charbroiled. The unexpected decor evokes a European hunting lodge, with wall sconces, chandeliers, and a stone fireplace. Don't be mistaken; while Crown is something of an upscale fast foodery, you still order at the counter, wait for your number to be called, and pick up your paper-wrapped food yourself. The minichain's signature burger is a cheeseburger piled with pastrami; the menu also offers a variety of other burgers, beef burritos, hot pastrami sandwiches, steak sandwiches, gyros, fishburgers, fries, onion rings, and more. The food is good, hot, and fast. No alcohol is served.
