Frommer's Review
Come to Tuscany for top-notch food and wine in a quaintly elegant setting on the wooded foot of the Wasatch Mountains. The restaurant is fittingly built to resemble an Italian mountain lodge, with massive beams, cathedral ceilings, an extensive use of rock, old-world murals, stained glass, and three enormous fireplaces. The northern Italian cuisine has been tempered with Western influences, resulting in delicious dishes such as hardwood-grilled, double-cut pork chop with scallion mashed potatoes, balsamic roasted onions, and pan juices; gnocchi Bolognese with traditional meat sauce and smoked buffalo mozzarella; and our favorite: oven roasted filet of salmon with pesto-smoked bacon crust served with toasted vegetable couscous. And be sure to save room for one of their homemade desserts such as rich old-fashioned chocolate cake, or vanilla bean crème brûlée with fresh berries. In summer you can dine alfresco in the lovely garden. Full liquor service is available.
