Effortlessly melding a lot of class with a little bit of quirk, Salt Lake City's Hotel Monaco occupies the 14-story former Continental Bank Building, built in 1924 and home of the world's first drive-through teller. The colorful lobby mixes classic and contemporary, as do the rooms, which captivate the senses with an eclectic array of patterns and colors. Goldfish are provided to those who don't have Fido in tow; Sweet Tarts are left behind upon nightly turndown service; and many rooms have spectacular city views. The Monaco is also home to an excellent restaurant, Bambara, and pumps complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the building, guest rooms included.
