The coast and bay around Salvador have some interesting dive spots, including reefs and shipwrecks. Daily outings, trips, and times vary according to the tides and weather conditions. The prices are pretty competitive; expect to pay around R$100 (US$42) for a dive trip excluding equipment, and R$160 (US$66) for a dive trip including full equipment rental.
