Just north of the Farol da Barra lighthouse, this hotel offers great value and a good location. Although it looks rather unassuming from the outside, the hotel has recently been renovated. The rooms are on the small side but nicely decorated with modern blond-wood furniture, hardwood floors, comfortable sitting areas, a desk, full-length dress mirror, and nice firm beds with quality bedding. There are no full ocean views but many rooms have a sideways view of the ocean and can be reserved at no extra charge. If you need a bit more space you can reserve the suite, which consists of a sitting room with a sofa bed and separate bedroom. The suites look out over the fort and waterfront.
