Frommer's Review
In Pelourinho, reggae lives on. The Rasta flag flies proudly, dreadlocks are common features, and Bob is still a hero, if not a full-on prophet. A combination of three bars -- Negros Bar, Bar do Reggae, and Cravo Rastafari -- Praça do Reggae is reggae central. It doesn't really matter which one of the three you pick; all put out Jamaican-laced tunes, and most of the action is outside anyway with live music every Friday and Saturday. Open Tuesday through Sunday 7pm to 1am.
