This inviting hotel is near the Makartplatz. Rooms are furnished in a simple, modern style -- an utter functionalism that deters lingering or long stays. Nonetheless, beds are frequently renewed, housekeeping is good, and the tiny shower-only bathrooms are well kept. Inside are three restaurants: one with vaulted ceilings and murals, another covered with wrought-iron detailing, and the third -- the least formal -- a beer hall.
