Hipsters dive into Onyx, a subterranean club where the atmosphere is lounge, the drinks are up, and the music is cool. Live jazz is featured on Tuesdays. The Onyx Room opens Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday from 9pm. At street level is hyper-modern Thin (tel. 619/231-7529; www.thinroom.com), run by the same crew and open Wednesday through Saturday from 8pm (Fri at 5pm).
