This full-service book and CD store offers discounts on many titles. Borders also stocks a stylish line of greeting cards and encourages browsing; there's an adjoining coffee lounge. Of the two locations, the Mission Valley store is slightly larger. Both locations are open Monday to Thursday 9am to 11pm, Friday to Saturday 9am to midnight, and Sunday 10am to 10pm.
