More discount name-brand shopping is found at the Viejas Casino, east of El Cajon. Here you'll find Big Dog, Eddie Bauer, GAP, Liz Claiborne, Nike, Perry Ellis, and Polo Ralph Lauren -- nearly 50 stores in all. Tuesdays are Senior Citizen Days, with additional discounts at some stores. There is also daily entertainment at the Showcourt with pyrotechnics, music, and an interactive fountain -- and if that's not enough, there's a casino next door. Viejas is about 30 miles east of downtown. Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday 10am to 7pm.
