Frommer's Review
The Ferrari brothers love variety -- the menu features daily specials from all of Italy's distinctive culinary regions. Pasta, needless to say, is just a (very pleasant) side trip here; the Ferrari brothers prefer hearty dishes with rich flavors. Dishes that we enjoy include the fungi mushrooms with sausage and polenta, and the oven-roasted lamb with vegetables, tomato, and white-wine sauce, accompanied by potatoes and caramelized onions. On other occasions we've tried the simple yet delicious trout filet served with olive oil and basil, and a lean suckling pig with roast potatoes. We have never had a disappointing meal here. The wine list travels Italy with the food and includes at least 100 labels imported from smaller, less-known wineries. Venanzio Massimo provides expert direction for the perfect pairing.
