Frommer's Review
On Siesta Key's south end, this intimate bayside charmer is one of Florida's most romantic retreats. Some units are close to a small bayside swimming pool, heavy tropical foliage provides a reasonable degree of privacy, and high wooden fences surround each unit's private outdoor hot tub. Sitting right on the bay, all units also have one-way privacy mirror windows. The cottages are done in various styles, such as Caribbean and Nantucket, and have at least one bedroom each. There's no restaurant on the grounds, but all units have kitchens. Guests can use bikes, fishing poles, kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats for free. Turtle Beach is only a 5-minute walk. Ten new studios and one-bedroom luxury units, called the Inn at Turtle Beach, have been added across the street on the Gulf side. All units have hot tubs with aromatherapy jets. Facilities include kitchenettes and bathrooms, two boat docks, fountains, and a heated pool.
Facilities:
Outdoor pool; free use of bikes and watersports equipment

| 2 stars | Frommer's Very Highly Recommended | |
| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
