Few know this, but Pan Pacific is Singapore's largest hotel, with over 780 rooms. But a recent face-lift has given the hotel a new look, and due to a clever atrium layout, you'd never know you were in a building so huge. Competing with Marina Mandarin and the Oriental to grab a slice of the Suntec City Convention Center and business travel pie, Pan Pac avoids the Asian flavor for something a bit more colorful -- a lobby with a checkerboard inlay reception counter, vibrant carpeting, and a lobby lounge with walls of lights that change colors. Guest rooms are large, with wood paneling in geometric panels, Asian-inspired fabrics, and large oval desktops with Herman Miller chairs. Hands down, Pan Pac has Singapore's best business center -- a full floor designated to private offices, with full secretarial services, every piece of office equipment you'd need, plus meeting rooms and even snacks and cocktail lounges. The hotel's many restaurants are some of the top choices in Singapore. The rooftop pool has a huge open sun deck area and a spa and fitness center with pool view.
