This small, quaint hotel has cozy rooms and the most friendly and accommodating staff around. Done in dark, cool European styling throughout, this modern hotel's most dramatic feature is the lobby area's fantastic cascading waterfalls, which drop over a vertical tropical rock-and-plant garden nestled behind three-story-high glass panels. The Elizabeth has seen some recent refurbishment to freshen the rooms. Newer touches include wall coverings, floral bedspreads, and drapes. The burl-wood furnishings are handsome. Recreation facilities are few and small compared to similar properties. Business center services are provided by the front office staff. There is a small but imaginative gift shop specializing in feng shui items. Attractive rates make this hotel an excellent bargain.
