Frommer's Review
They've done a lovely job with this boutique hotel. In the heart of Chinatown's tourism hustle and bustle, step into the small lobby to be greeted by pretty antiques and tasteful Chinese trappings. To the side of the lobby, a charming cafe serves Western and local meals three times a day. The front desk handles everything from business center services to arranging laundry, tours, and postal services, but never seems frazzled. Rooms are quite modern for this type of hotel, with keycard locks, in-room safe, minibar, and room service. Decor is atmospheric as well, with local touches of carved woods and rich fabrics. I like the black-and-white-tiled bathrooms. This place is a welcome addition to Singapore's smattering of affordable accommodations.
