The IndoChine group of restaurants also operates several chic bars throughout the city. With the feel of a luxe opium den, you'll be enveloped in stylish contemporary Southeast Asian decor and groovy textural music. A sensual place to meet for a cocktail before dinner, to relax for a night cap, or to just loll away the hours with mixed cocktails. Also check out sister bars: Bar Opiume, 1 Empress Place, Asian Civilisations Museum (tel. 65/6339-2876) and Bar SaVanh, 49A Club St. (tel. 65/6323-0145). Hours are Sunday to Thursday 5pm to 3am and Friday and Saturday 5pm to 6am.
