Without changing your lodgings, you can travel from Skagway or Haines for a tour of Juneau's highlights and a sightseeing day cruise of the Lynn Canal. The fare is $159, including a narrated bus tour of Juneau and Mendenhall Glacier. The whole excursion is about 12 hours.
