The primitive National Park Service Dyea Campground has 22 well-separated sites along a river at the ghost town site 9 miles from Skagway. The campground has pit toilets and no water. RVs more than 27 feet are not allowed. The fee is $10. The Pullen Creek RV Park (www.pullencreekrv.com; tel. 800/936-3731 or 907/983-2768) is near the small-boat harbor, with coin-operated showers. RV sites with power, water, and dump station use are $38, car camping sites are $30, tenting with no vehicle $25.
