A Hostel & Camping

A primitive National Park Service Dyea Campground has 22 well-separated sites near the water at the ghost town site 9 miles from Skagway. The campground has pit toilets and no water. RVs over 27 feet are not allowed. The fee is $6 (possibly going to $10). The Pullen Creek RV Park (tel. 800/936-3731 or 907/983-2768) is near the small-boat harbor, with coin-operated showers. RV sites with power, water, and dump-station use are $30, car camping sites are $22, tenting with no vehicle $16.
