This is one of the most exciting restaurants on St. Barts. It occupies a house on the steepest street in Gustavia, high above the harbor, with a dining deck overlooking a swimming pool. The owners and chefs are partners Kiki and Boubou (Christophe Barjetta and Olivier Megnin), whose nicknames belie their formidable training at some of the grandest restaurants of France. Some recommended dishes are tempura of snapper or mahimahi with mango salad and coriander sauce; a traditional Thai dish, tataki, composed of deliberately undercooked tuna with a ginger-flavored vinaigrette, shallots, and sesame oil; grilled beef with teriyaki sauce; or duck with soy sauce and caramel. Try the warm chocolate tart for dessert.
