Proudly positioned as the centerpiece of a charming and not particularly expensive hotel, La Terrazza has a deserved reputation for well-conceived food, such as a bowl of fish soup, based on the catch of the day, with pesto and homemade croutons. Other examples include spaghetti with squid ink and eggplant, ravioli stuffed with spiny crayfish meat, saltimbocca (veal and ham) alla Romana, an unusual version of spaghetti en papillote (cooked in parchment paper) with fresh vegetable sauce, and one of our personal favorites, chicken breast with rosemary potatoes. Dessert usually includes a homemade tiramisu.
