Frommer's Review
It's special, it's fun, and there's nothing like it on St. Lucia. An elite, intimate retreat, it sprawls across a clifftop overlooking the Caribbean and evokes a laid-back Creole village between Castries and Soufrière. A hideaway, it stands on a bit more than 6 hectares (16 acres) of lushly planted grounds. The resort offers beautifully furnished and comfortable bedrooms in individual cottages trimmed in fretwork or else a dozen units in somewhat less ornate and less private duplex cottages. Each accommodation comes with a spacious porch with a hammock. Bedrooms are furnished with four-posters along with a private open-air garden shower, and 11 of the accommodations (a third of the total) have their own plunge pool. A wooden staircase, 167 steps down, leads to a secluded cove of white sands.
