Frommer's Review
Backpackers, students, and cyclists appreciate the youthful ambience and the good-natured reception here. You will too, given that the place is functional with some frills but the price is fair for Stockholm. When it was constructed in 1905, this building was an apartment house, lying within a 10-minute walk of Stockholm's railway station. Today it's been converted into a small and intimate hotel, just battered enough to relieve the inhibitions of anyone who fears formality. The decor and amenities date from 1987, when the owners radically upgraded the place in a contemporary style. The rooms are not exactly plush, and the bathrooms are neatly maintained and come with tub/showers. Housekeeping generally is adequate.
