For quick getaways on a jet plane in the morning, this is your most serviceable choice at the airport. This three-story hotel lies at Arlanda Airport, 39km (24 miles) north of Stockholm. Built in 1993, it's a part of the sprawling SkyCity airport complex that includes banks, travel agencies, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, and the busiest of the airport's terminals (nos. 4 and 5). Bedrooms are outfitted in one of three distinct styles: Scandinavian modern, Asian, and business-class units with slightly upgraded extras. The hotel's SkyCity Bar and Restaurant is the best for food and drink within the airport complex.
