The simple rooms here are typical, if high-end, motel fare, but the grounds are more like a small estate garden. Located 3km (1 3/4 miles) from downtown Stratford, the setting offers a tranquil escape. The property has been run by the same family for more than 40 years, and it has a warm, gracious atmosphere. The rooms are simple and clean. The grounds are the real drawing card, with a sweet Victorian gazebo, beds of perennial flowers, and an outdoor pool. This is a smoke-free hotel.
