Thessaloniki's markets are a bit of Levantine exotica that knocks the socks off anything to be found in Athens. And "anything" is precisely what you can find here, whether it's knockoff designer bags, copper pots, piles of black-and-white postcards, and sheep's bells (or sheep's heads for that matter!). It's a great place to stroll, get lost, and have a snack or a meal.
