Frommer's Review
Still going strong although it's now outclassed by many others, this complex sprawls across a beach shoreline set against a backdrop of palms. It draws the most European clientele on the island, and is under the same ownership as the neighboring and superior Le Grand Courlan Resort (Grafton guests can use Courlan's spa). Rooms are in three- and four-story buildings scattered over 2 hectares (5 acres) descending to a nice white-sand beach. The well-furnished units contain ceiling fans, sliding-glass doors opening onto balconies, and handcrafted teak furniture. Most bathrooms are small but well appointed, with combination tub/showers, mirrored closets, and retractable laundry lines.
The resort's pool is ringed with cafe/restaurant tables, and there is a swim-up bar. Fine regional and international cuisines are served in the Ocean View and Neptune's Restaurant. Limbo dancing and calypso, or some other form of entertainment, is featured nightly.
Facilities:
2 restaurants; 3 bars (1 swim-up); outdoor pool; golf privileges; boating; dive shop; snorkeling; windsurfing; car rental; laundry service; 1 room for those w/limited mobility
