Family-Friendly Hotels

Hotel New Otani -- This huge hotel has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, but best for parents is the babysitting room for children ages 1 month to 5 years. For a small fortune, you can even leave the darlings overnight.

Imperial Hotel -- Although oriented toward business travelers, this famous hotel makes it easier to bring the family along, with its day-care center for children ages 2 weeks to 6 years, its babysitting service, and an indoor pool.

Keio Plaza Inter-Continental Tokyo -- A children's day-care center for children 2 months and older and free admission to an outdoor pool with children's pool are family pleasers, but if that's not enough, maybe the kids will find it cool to stay in one of Tokyo's tallest hotels.

National Children's Castle Hotel -- This is the absolutely top place to stay with kids, since the same building contains Tokyo's best indoor/outdoor playground and activity rooms for all ages, offering everything from building blocks and computer games to a swimming pool.

Shinagawa Prince -- Japan's largest hotel boasts a children's day-care center, an IMAX theater, an amusement arcade, indoor and outdoor pools, aquarium, bowling alley, sports center, and much more.
