Frommer's Review
The food is passable, but what sets La Boheme apart is that it's open every day until 5am, making it a good bet for a late-night meal. I also like its huge, open kitchen in the middle of the room, surrounded by a U-shaped counter that provides a ringside view of the action. The pasta ranges from spaghetti with eggplant and tomato sauce to spaghetti Bolognese, along with Japanese-style versions like steamed breast of chicken with Japanese baby leek, spinach, and sesame oil.
You'll find other La Boheme restaurants at many popular spots around Tokyo, including the Ginza at 1-2-3 Ginza (tel. 03/5524-3616); in Harajuku at 6-8-18 Jingumae (tel. 03/3400-3406) and 5-8-5 Jingumae (tel. 03/5467-5666); in Aoyama at 6-2-2 Minami Aoyama (tel. 03/6418-4242); in Shibuya at 1-6-8 Jinnan (tel. 03/3477-0481); in Nishi Azabu at 2-25-18 Nishi Azabu (tel. 03/3407-1363); in Meguro at 4-19-17 Shirokanedai (tel. 03/3442-4488); and on the fourth floor of Mediage on Odaiba (tel. 03/3599-4801). All are open daily from 11:30am to 5am.
